Google made some major changes to the search results page last week that will affect AdWords and SEO results for our accounts and for all businesses. FOR DESKTOPS / TABLETS, the search results page now includes: - 4 ads at the top of the page instead of the usual 3 - NO ADS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE - 3 ads at the bottom of the page. - That's 7 ads total on page one vs. 10 The right hand column is now reserved for Google My Business info on local searches, and other product ads, etc for national searches. FOR MOBILE: It looks like a move to 3 at the top and 3 at the bottom, vs 2/2 or 3/2 from before. I don't think we'll see a major change in mobile results other than position 6 ads getting more exposure.
